SAFE retreat planned for July

Azalea Blossom Inc. (Growing Azalea Music’s sister 501c3 organization) will be hosting a retreat for youth and adult volunteers interested in participating in the SAFE program, the educational program designed by Margaret for the awareness, prevention and education of domestic violence through the use of music, multimedia and the arts. www.azaleablossom.com/Pages/safe.htm

Recent Success Stories

Margaret recently signed a contract with Manifest Media, a music licensing company based in Northampton, MA. Manifest Media will be representing Margaret’s instrumental compositions for placement in film and television, along with her existing publishing contracts with Mamapublooza and Music Kitchen.

New Recordings

Cinderella Falling, the first single from Margaret’s upcoming “Distant Thunder” album, is finished and will soon be available for purchase through itunes!

1. Room to Grow, the song Margaret wrote to her son’s fifth grade class, has been recorded, and it features twelve-year-old Faith Ahmed on lead vocals.

Inspiration place of the month

Saratoga Springs, New York is the inspirational place for the month of July. First introduced to Margaret when she was a students of the New York State Summer School of the Arts school of orchestral studies, it is home to the beautiful Saratoga Performing Arts Center, which hosts a variety of cultural events during the summer months. www.gamusic.com/Pages/inspiration.htm
