At Growing Azalea Music

Growing Azalea Music Productions, an independently owned record label and music publishing company located in Rensselaerville, New York, is currently seeking a qualified Marketing and Promotions Intern to work on our promotion team. Responsibilities include:

- Promote the new “Cinderella Falling” music video on public access, cable, and regional television and Internet stations.
- Compile lists of radio stations by region, keep track of play lists,
contact stations, set up interviews, and mail press material.
- Research and follow-up on satellite and Internet radio placements.
- Pursue opportunities for printed media and Internet exposure.
- Design, mail and post flyers and postcards for performances.
- Send periodic concert reminders via the Internet.

We are currently accepting applications from qualified candidates who possess the following skills and personal qualities:

- Computer Literate (Mac v 6, Microsoft Office, and the Internet).
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Previous experience in sales and/or retail.
- Enrollment in communication and/or marketing courses.
- Professional, Personable, and Positive.
- Motivated to work hard.
- Interest and/or knowledge of the music business preferred.
