Julian Graduates from Greenville High School

The biggest and all consuming event in Margaret’s life is the upcoming graduation of her son, Julian Song Jacobs, from Greenville High School. Julian will be attending Oberlin College and Conservatory of Music in the fall as a dual degree student majoring in Classical and Jazz Percussion and Environmental Studies. www.julianjacobspercussion.com

Roots and Wings Performed Margaret’s song, “Roots and Wings”, which she wrote for the Greenville High School Class of 2015 as a tribute to their teachers and parents, was performed at the senior Baccalaureate service Friday, June 19th at St. John the Devine in Greenville, New York. http://www.gamusic.com/performances

News from Azalea Blossom Azalea Blossom, the not-for-profit 501c3 organization, which Margaret dedicated to the prevention, awareness and education of domestic violence and child abuse is gearing up to launch the newly revamped SAFE through the Arts program targeted towards the Pre-K and K population. SAFE through the Arts is an educational violence-prevention and empowerment  program utilizing the creative and performing arts as its main mode of instruction. Inspiration Inspirational Place of the Month

In recognition of Margaret’s son Julian’s recently becoming a recipient of the annual Edmund Niles Huyck award for his aptitude and interest in pursuing Environmental Studies. The Huyck Preserve and Biological Research Station located in beautiful Rensselaerville, New York is the inspirational place for the month of June.
