On March 21, 2021 Mimi Fox is doing a Facebook livestream to benefit SAFE Through the Arts Bullying Prevention Program. The livestream will be taking place at 8pm EST and will be hosted on Azalea Blossom, Inc. Facebook page. Born in New York City, Fox grew up to win 6 consecutive Downbeat Magazine critic's polls and even has her own Mimi Fox Artist Signature Model with Kalamazoo. Starting in the 1990's with Monarch Records, Fox went on to play shows in New York city, Tokyo, Japan, Australia, Europe and more. She was praised by Guitar Player Magazine who noted that the jazz guitarist is "a prodigious talent who has not only mastered the traditional forms, but has managed to reinvigorate them." Midwest Record, Downbeat Magazine, Jazz Weekly, and Jazz times have also praised the artist over the years. Fox's records, including "Standards," "Perpetually Hip," "Kinks," and more, has helped establish her credibility. Fox is not just known for her albums, she has also written and performed scores for orchestras and documentaries.
